Andrew Biedenbender is a Physical Education teacher, Assistant Athletic Director and the Head Varsity Football Coach at Grand Haven High School. A graduate of Grand Valley State University, where he played offensive line and earned multiple GLIAC academic honors along with All-Conference recognition, he has built his career around education, leadership, and developing student-athletes on and off the field. Prior to Grand Haven, he coached at Owosso, Mt. Pleasant, and West Ottawa High Schools, serving in multiple roles including position coach and offensive coordinator while helping build strong program cultures centered on accountability, discipline, and growth. Since taking over the Buccaneers football program in 2023, his focus has been on strengthening culture, increasing participation across all levels, and developing young men into disciplined leaders on and off the field. He also serves as a leader of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) at Grand Haven High School, where he is passionate about helping students grow in their faith and live out their beliefs through athletics, leadership, and daily life. He is a proud husband to his wife, Maddie, and father of four children: Brady (10), McKenna (8), Peyton (4), and Oakleigh (1).
